About me

Hello, I am Pauline Di Silvestro.

I am a self-taught photographer from Brussels based in London. I started concert photography in 2012. I had already been very active in the underground punk rock scene for 4 years as a booker/promoter and photography quickly became a new way for me to support touring bands and small venues. In June 2016, I made the decision to become a full-time photographer. I now collaborate with Rockshot Magazine on a regular basis, as well as a freelance photographer with bands from all over the world.

In October 2019, I got shortlisted in the British Photography Awards 2020.

I use a Nikon D7200 camera, with a 50mm 1.8 Olympus, a 35mm 1.8 Nikkor, a 14mm 2.8 Rokinon and a 8mm 2.8 Samyang. I also own an external flash and a tripod.

It is often said you only have a few seconds to make a great first impression. This statement is even more real in the music industry, and bands from any scene need to do whatever it takes to stand out from the musical crowd. To help you in this goal, I offer a wide range of services in the music photography field including stage photography, band portraits, press-kit design, and tour photography. I also offer my services to help event organisers promote all types of musical events such as festivals, concerts, and more… Feel free to contact me about your upcoming project!

I would like to support a fantastic organisation that is very close to my heart… So, for every shoot booked between now and July 2020, I will donate 10% of the total fee to Electric Umbrella!

Electric Umbrella is a collaboration of professional musicians and adults with learning disabilities. They work very hard on empowering and changing the lives of everyone around them through music. You can learn more about them on www.electricumbrella.co.uk
